2024: S.O.A.R. goes to Barbados!

In July 2024, S.O.A.R. Hospitality and Travel YLC, Inc. proudly sent fourteen of our top-performing scholars on a transformative 14‑day internship to Barbados. From July 7 to July 20, these motivated young leaders, accompanied by dedicated chaperones, immersed themselves in professional development and cultural exchange at Golden Sands Hotel—an institution of special significance, as it was the very property where our CEO, Rosie McCamery, launched her international career 28 years ago.

During their time in Barbados, the scholars engaged in hands‑on training across all facets of hospitality, led peer‑to‑peer workshops on business and entrepreneurship, and participated in community service projects designed to deepen their global perspective. This inaugural program not only honored our CEO’s legacy but also exemplified S.O.A.R.’s commitment to empowering youth through real‑world experience and cross‑cultural collaboration.
